Westpro Machinery
Description:
Westpro Machinery partnered with TargetBox for the delivery of a fully modified 40’ shipping container to their site in Puslinch, Ontario.
The extensive modifications resulted in a well-insulated, climate-controlled, and electrically equipped space — ideal for anything from on-site operations to equipment storage or a mobile workspace.
The container was customized with a 72” double steel man door for easy equipment access, and a 36” commercial steel man door with a 24” x 24” louvered air vent for ventilation. A fresh air intake fan was also installed through the wall to maintain interior air quality. The walls and ceiling were built out with 2×4 studs, spray-foamed with 2” insulation, and finished with Smart Board and vinyl-coated drywall for durability. Even the underside of the container was spray-foamed to enhance energy efficiency.
The electrical system included a 100-amp panel with exterior junction box, seven outlets, six 4’ LED lights with a switch, three 2,500W baseboard heaters with a thermostat, a 10,000 BTU through-wall A/C unit, and full ESA inspection for code compliance. The container was trimmed, painted inside and out, and delivered ready for use — a robust, turnkey solution tailored to Westpro’s high standards.
