Custom 3-Unit Container Office & Storage Project

This project features three custom-built 40’ shipping container units designed to create a flexible and functional workspace solution. The build includes one 40’ dedicated meeting office container and two 40’ office/storage combination units, providing both professional workspace and secure on-site storage.

40’ Meeting Office Container

The 40’ meeting office was designed to provide a comfortable and practical environment for team collaboration and meetings. The container includes two private meeting rooms, making it ideal for job site management, planning sessions, or administrative work.

The interior is fully framed with 2×4 wall and ceiling framing, paired with 2” spray foam urethane insulation to ensure year-round comfort. Large windows allow natural light into the space, while Trusscore white vinyl wall and ceiling panels with trim provide a clean, durable, and easy-to-maintain finish.

Additional interior features include two interior walls with man doors, creating defined meeting spaces within the container. The office is finished with vinyl plank flooring for durability and a modern appearance.

The electrical package includes:

• Hydro panel with exterior junction box

• 10 outlets throughout the space

• 4’ LED lighting with switches

• Four in-wall heaters with thermostats

• Two thru-wall air conditioning units

• Exterior lighting

• Full electrical inspection

To improve functionality, two 8’ work counters with cabinets underneath were installed—one in each office area—providing convenient workspace and storage.

2 × 40’ Office & Storage Combination Containers

The project also includes two 40’ office/storage combination units, each configured with 12’ of finished office space and 28’ of secure storage. These containers provide a practical solution for job sites that require both administrative workspace and equipment storage in a single unit.

The office sections feature:

• Full 2×4 wall and ceiling framing

• 2” spray foam urethane insulation for climate control

• Large windows for natural lighting

• Smart panel wall finishes and Trusscore vinyl ceilings with trim

• Durable interior office finishes designed for daily use

Each container includes two commercial steel man doors with deadbolts for secure and convenient access between spaces.

The storage section is built for durability with plywood walls and ceiling, creating a rugged interior capable of handling tools, materials, and equipment.

The electrical system in each unit includes:

All units were professionally prepped and painted to the customer’s chosen colour, creating a cohesive and professional appearance across the entire site.

Together, these three units provide a complete job-site solution, combining meeting space, office functionality, and secure storage in a durable container-based setup.
